What is CEREC?
CEREC stands for chairside economical restoration of esthetic ceramics. Basically, the technology allows us to match your new dental crown to the shade of your existing teeth. First, we evaluate the depth of your tooth decay or cavity. After evaluation, we make your crown and harden the ceramic material using a high-powered light. The dental crown will fit on top of the tooth and discreetly repair the affected tooth.
Ceramic dental crowns provide an esthetically pleasing solution to the issue of fixing decayed teeth. If the tooth only contains a small cavity, then the tooth might require only a filling. The entire process should take only a couple hours to complete. Once your crown is placed, you can freely enjoy the holiday season without worrying about your dentition.
