To make sure I am offering my patients the best care available, I am constantly evaluating new techniques and treatments at such prestigious institutions as the Misch International Implant Institute, the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Studies and the L.D. Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education."

Dr. Allain is now one of very few dentists in all of North America who has completed Level II of an advanced comprehensive Postgraduate Continuing Education Program in Esthetic Dentistry at the University of Minnesota - Review details of this recent accomplishment.

Dr. Allain takes 100 to 200 hours per year of continuing dental education, whereas the license requirements for the State of Michigan require only 20 hours per year.

Not too many Dentists train as much as we do and it shows with our excellent outcomes and, more importantly, happy family of patients". There are very few Dentists in the state that have an advanced training status called a single Fellowship. Dr. Allain has two fellowships now, which is even rarer!"

Treating you with a feather-soft touch

"These days, so many dental offices are impersonal clinics. Not here! Naturally, you can count on the most advanced care available when you visit. I'll use my state-of-the-are training and equipment (like IV conscious sedation, which induces a state of calm) to give you the same kind of gentle, comfortable care that I demand when I'm the one sitting in the dental chair." Most practices that are advertising “sedation dentistry” are simply giving patients pills and then hope that the patient is comfortable enough to do the procedure. With the IV sedation we have direct control over the sedation and can add medications a little bit at a time to effect. We are also able to quickly reverse the anesthesia with reversing drugs introduced immediately into the IV line. People don’t realize that about 10% of the population has such high fear that they cannot have any dental treatment done. These patients respond great when we sedate them and complete their treatment in one long visit without any memory or pain instead of multiple, stressful visits."
