"Dear Dr. Allain, Roz and the rest of the caring people at LOFD,

A couple years ago, I had mentioned to my friends that I was looking for a new dentist. You came highly recommended by a friend of mine, but I thought your office was too far away from my home in Sterling Heights. Instead, I went to a local dentist who advertised sedation dentistry and that patients would "snooze" through their visit and could have many procedures done at one time. This sounded great to me. I had a fear of going to the dentist and had neglected my dental health, therefore, a great deal of work was necessary. I was told that the sedation would be provided to me in pill form, oral sedation, and that I would not remember the procedures. Unfortunately, I remembered waking up several times and being asked if I would like yet another pill. I was nauseous afterwards and was ill, not quite the experience I had expected.

Needless to say, the next time I had a dental problem I asked my friend for your number. I called the office and Roz answered the phone. I felt at ease talking to her and have felt so ever since. You, very thoroughly, examined my teeth and reassured me that we would proceed at a slow pace with treatment. Ronda cleaned my teeth. She was sensitive to my fears and made me very comfortable, the warm hand wax treatment was marvelous!

The day arrived... my IV sedation surgery, and I was anxious. I worried that I would wake-up in the middle of the procedure and find myself in the same situation as before. I arrived early and saw you soon afterwards, you started the IV. The next thing I remember I was home in bed. Recovery was much speedier, and less painful, than I expected.

...and to think it only takes me 20 minutes to get to your office. I could have avoided the previous unpleasant experience had I gone to Lake Orion Family Dentistry in the first place!"

Our family: Dave Martus, Jordan Bach and Loren Bach, found Lake Orion Family Dentistry about eight or more years ago by picking a name out of the phone book. We are quite glad that Dr. Allain's name starts with an "A" because our choice was quite random. We immediately liked Dr. Allain and have always been impressed with the dental work he has done. We have each needed some special work done and this has been top quality. We have moved up north and hope that the dental care up here is comparable to Dr. Allain's and staff. If it isn't, we may actually drive four hours for dental care with the staff at Lake Orion!"

We moved to the Rochester/Oakland Township area six years ago and I had the job of finding the best in the area for our family of six. So, my mission began... I was officially the family guinea pig.
