With nitrous oxide, you will inhale the gas (a nitrous oxide and oxygen mixture) through a facemask that rests over your nose and mouth.

To ensure your safety, we will carefully control the amount of nitrous you receive. You will begin to relax and will not recognize pain, allowing the dentist to perform your dental work while you stay completely comfortable. Once we remove your mask, the effects of nitrous oxide immediately subside, which means you can drive yourself home following the visit and continue with your daily activities.
